How to Make Money With Google Adsense in 2025 ($4K+ Per Week)

Google AdSense is one of the best ways of making money online. Now, you might be asking, Matt, what exactly is Google AdSense and how can I potentially make a lot of money with it? Well, I’ve been making money with Google AdSense ever since I was a teenager, and it has completely transformed my life. Ever since I discovered that you can connect Google AdSense to a couple of different other tools, I could do the work once by generating certain assets and then make money from those assets for a long, long

time. Now, what exactly is Google AdSense and how can you make money from it? Well, to explain this, imagine for a second a world without online ads. Now, I know that might sound peaceful, but ads in a lot of ways are actually what keeps the internet powered. The reality is that the free content that you love consuming online, whether it be cat videos or your favorite blog, these probably wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for online ads. Now, traditionally advertising depended on expensive mediums like television, newspaper ads.

But now, needless to say, most people are on the internet and that is where you want your ads to be seen in front of other people. And one of the biggest ad networks out there, which is owned by one of the biggest companies in the world, is Google AdSense. And you can use this to your benefit to potentially earn an income online with whatever you’re interested in. It’s 100% free to join. It can even make a lot of money for small creators. It doesn’t require a ton of technical knowledge to set up and will allow you to monetize and potentially earn income online. So, let’s start with way number one of making money with Google AdSense, which is with video content. This is what initially allowed me to start making $3,000 per month when I was just 15 years old. And by the time I graduated high school, I was making $30,000 per month. I’ve never had to work a traditional job. And that’s all because of Google AdSense. Google AdSense has changed my life. And that’s no exaggeration. whatsoever. I would be in

a job I hated right now if it wasn’t for this product by Google. And as much as people might say that online ads are terrible and intrusive and everything, trust me, I hear you. But you can utilize this to your benefit. And online ads like this have changed so many people’s lives and it’s enabled probably a lot of your favorite creators to do what they do. Now, what if I were to tell you that I used Google AdSense with videos to make a ton of money online and I wasn’t even a YouTuber. I never show my face on camera. I didn’t step in front of a camera. I didn’t even have to do any of that. Yet, I was still able to utilize this amazing way of making money online and video. And that was still on YouTube. And that was by running something called Faceless Cash Cow YouTube channels. These are YouTube channels where you never have to show your face or step in front of a camera. And you can still potentially make a lot of money from them. These are niche YouTube channels just like the ones that got me to play buttons just like this for hitting over a million subscribers without ever even showing my face. 

And if I can do this as a broke high school student, then I truly believe that it’s possible for you to as well. So, in order to start doing this, first and foremost, we need a YouTube channel. And I’ve made countless videos here on my Make Money Matt channel where I go over exactly how to start a channel step by step. So, feel free to check those out. I’ve also got tons of tutorials on exactly how I run these faceless YouTube channels. So once you have your channel, whether it’s a faceless channel, personal channel, no matter what it is, once you have it and once it’s starting to get views, once you have 4,000 hours of watch time and 1,000 subscribers, you can join something that changed my life, the YouTube partner program. This allows you to connect your AdSense account to your YouTube account and then AdSense will show ads on your YouTube videos and for every single time someone sees an ad, you will get a little bit of money.

And you might be saying, “Matt, just a little bit of money. How could I potentially make big money or change my life with this? “ Well, it can add up in more ways than you probably think. And here’s how you can make the most of it. First and foremost, you need to understand the different types of ads that show on YouTube videos. You’ve got pre-roll ads, which show before the video, midroll ads, which show during the video, and then postroll ads, which show after the video. And YouTube will show these ads on your videos regardless if you’re a partner or not. So, it’s basically a no-brainer to join the YouTube Partner Program as soon as you possibly can so that you can start getting a cut of that revenue. Then, in order to make the most amount of money with this, you’re going to want to go in and select the button in your monetization settings for your channel to monetize all of your videos. Make sure you select to put ads on all of your different videos, and this will do it automatically. Then, what you’re going to want to do is go into these individual videos and start placing manual midroll ads.

 Essentially, what you can do is put multiple ad breaks throughout your video and you’ll make a lot more money per thousand views as opposed to just putting those beginning and ending ads. And you want to put them at points where viewer retention is likely to be high in the video without interrupting the viewer experience too much. And in order to put these mid-roll ads, you do need to produce videos that are longer than 8 minutes. So, make sure to do that as well. And also, certain niches or topics make more money than others. For example, if you have a YouTube channel and videos specifically centered around making money online, finance, technology, business, travel, health, all of these topics right here are very what are considered high CPM. This means they make more money per thousand views than most other videos and most other topics on YouTube. And why is that? Well, if you look at the top advertisers on YouTube or even on Google AdSense as a whole, it’s going to be companies like Apple, which is in the technology niche, Expedia, which is in the travel niche. So, what types of videos and what types of keywords are these companies going to be targeting for their ads? Well, obviously, it’s going to be all of those topics that I just mentioned. And that is why those topics are high CPM because they have more ad dollars from AdSense going into those topics. And then you can take advantage of that by producing content on YouTube, for example, and then getting a cut of that revenue. Now, I have an in-depth tutorial on exactly how to monetize your channel, exactly how to connect it with AdSense and everything. Now, how much money can you actually make with AdSense on YouTube? Well, I’ve noticed most of the time most channels get about $5 to$10 CPM, meaning you make about $5 to $10 per,000 views.

 However, if you choose one of those high CPM topics, you could be looking at upwards of $15 to $30 per thousand views, especially anything related to business or making money online. Now, what’s so epic about YouTube as well, not even just the fact that they have that magic monetization button that you can click and enable ads on your channel, but what you can also do is start making money from day one on YouTube by promoting high payout partner products. These are products where you get a commission for every sale that you

get. You can find them on places like digisto24.com. You can even see my YouTube course, Tube Mastery Monetization, on there. You can go to mappar.com/affiliates. And then we’ve got tons of different affiliate resources that you can use to promote that program and you can get a cut of that ad revenue. So, let’s say, for example, you’re running a channel that is related to making money on YouTube. Then you can promote that program in the description of all of your different videos and get a 50% commission for every sale that you refer to. Now, my course isn’t the only one that’s out there that you can go out and promote. There’s tons of different ones out there, but I truly believe that my course is one of the best when it comes to making money on YouTube. And I’ve literally had students who have made money their first week on YouTube doing this strategy. And that way, they don’t have to wait to get monetized. And then when they do get monetized and they start making money from AdSense, it’s just an extra bonus. Way number two of making money with AdSense is by doing something called digital journaling. Essentially, what this means is taking high value content. In fact, you could even take the scripts from your YouTube videos that you already have and then you could just rewrite it a little bit and you take that high-value content and you put it on a platform like Web Flow or WordPress. And then that content can live on the internet forever giving people value. You can rank in search results by implementing SEO, which is search engine optimization, onto your website. 

And then you can put Google AdSense ads on that website. Now, I’ve done this in the past and I’ve made pretty decent money, like a couple hundred per month doing this in the past. I’ve never gone allin on doing digital journaling specifically with AdSense, but I know people who make well over $100,000 per month with their websites doing this. So, I know it’s 100% possible to do. I’ve gone all in on YouTube, though. That’s been what I focus on over the past couple years because I personally like YouTube a little bit more. I like video content, and that’s just what I’m personally interested in a little bit more. Plus, I was just lucky to find out about that at a pretty young age as well. And also, if you create an app, you can put Google AdSense ads on that app as well, and you can make money every single time somebody sees it. There’s tons of different apps out there that implement AdSense onto them, and they’re making money every single time someone uses their app. And you’ll see apps out there that have a million installs. Imagine if a million people are using that app every single day, and they’re making the owner of that app money. And there’s tons of different no code solutions and no code tools out there that allow you to build apps super easily nowadays. So, not being a developer is no excuse anymore. It’s definitely possible to do this no matter who you are. Now, as I’ve mentioned, running faceless YouTube channels is my favorite way of making money with Google AdSense.
